York Summer Swim Camp 2024
- Dates: 2-19 July 2024 (Three one week sessions - weekdays only)
- Time: 8:00 am to 11:00 am

- Existing York Swimmers (Novice or Intro to Competitive Swimmers)
- Three weeks - $400.00
- Two weeks - $275.00
- One Week - $150.00
- New to York Swim Club Swimmers (or not registered this 2023-24 season)
- Three weeks - $425.00
- Two weeks - $300.00
- One week - $175.00
- Existing York Swimmers (Novice or Intro to Competitive Swimmers)
Goals - introduce swimmers to Competitive Swimming and improve their competitive swimming skills in all 4 competitive strokes (Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly), as well as works on their starts, turns and finishes, and improves endurance. Swimmers will be divided into groups based on skill levels.
Prerequisite - This is not a 'Learn to Swim' program, swimmers must be comfortable in deep water, able to swim 50 m/yds without stopping (that is 2 lengths of most community pools), and tread water for at least one minute.
Camp Itinerary
- 8:00-9:30 am - Pool Training (stroke improvement, fitness, dives/turns, games)
- 9:30-9:45 am - Break - Change into dryland clothing & snack time (bring your own snack and water)
- 9:45-11:00 am - dry land exercises - Endurance (running, skipping.....) Rhythm Exercise and Stretching, Game (Team building and working with others)
- 11:00 am - Pick-up

- Payment - by cheque (payable to York Swim Club) or email transfer to yorkswimclub@gmail.com (due the first day of camp)
