Learn to Swim

The Learn to Swim program consists of a one hour lesson once per week.  This program is offered in 3 sessions -- Fall, Winter, Spring.  The Learn to Swim program will teach swimmers to be comfortable in the water, breath control, floats, glides, kick and arm pulls, and improve continuous swim distances.  No previous swimming experience is required. For the 2019-20 season the program will offered in one location:

Location:  Weston Area Pool (100 Pine Street)

Classes:  Thursday -- 6:00-7:00 pm   or    7:00-8:00 pm 
Classes:  Sunday -- 6:00-7:00 pm    or    7:00-8:00 pm 

Each Session is approximately 10 weeks long.  Start and end dates for the 2019-20 season are below:

** NOTE Weston start delayed to 16 Jan (Thur) or 26 Jan (Sun) because of Weston repairs.  Sessions have been extended to allow 10 weeks in each session (Winter & Spring)

If a swimmer can already swim two lengths of a 25 yard/meter pool, we recommend the Introduction to Competitive Program.
